Subscription commission for =Toki-Loki. Her wolf character Chris.

It was a bit of a struggle to get those colors correct, and I still think that red isn't quite right (I didn't have the exact tone so I had to improvise), not to mention that this occurred to be one of those works that my scanner doesn't really like at all. Kakjdas.
But the background is nice and I like how the wolf itself turned out.

I hope you like it Toki-Loki, and thanks again for giving me a premium membership!

Black Staedtler pigment liner and Faber-Castell colored pencils.

No matter how many times I look at your art, I simply can't ever get over how magically smooth your coloring is! It's delicious! Any tips for making it that smooth? Because really, for me I simply can't get my coloring that smooth without going too dark in places or something ._.

ANYWAYS gorgeous work again and boy, I love the way that you blended the red of Chris' shoulder into their tan fur of their leg... And the cross hatching background is beautiful too!

Thank you so much! It's always glad to hear that my work looks fine and is liked ^^
Hmm, useful tips, let's see... quality art supplies and steady hands? And sometimes I use a few drops of water in my colored pencil pieces to make the colors blend extra softly.

Uhh, horribly late reply again, I'm so sorry :< But better late than never, eh?

all patterns, all shapes - I shudder to think how awesome the on-paper art is.

It's awesome working that size, right? Your little twitches of the hand become a part of the art.
