I dunno how far intentionally you did this but I love the subtle mix between dynamics, statics, calm and expression here. Dog's breed, colour, pose is the calm part, only red bowtie brings some contrast and it's curious face seems like he's looking through the paper. And then background seems like static(due to horizontal lines) but multitude of lines and colours red and white are all in all kind of dynamic.
