Fun fact: Chicago, the blue Doberman presented here, is actually one of the most difficult characters of mine to portray correctly. (The other ones most likely being Radon and Muertos).
And it's not because of details included to the design or anything, it's those bloody colors. Seriously, to archieve that bluish grey needed, I had to use several layers of watercolor and colored pencils, and I'm still not quite satisfied with the outcome.
Of course there's no such problem when drawing digitally askjdfasjd.

Oh and the scars are still a part of his design, I just thought to try and see how he looks without them, like in the time when he still worked as a guard dog before being completely mauled.

Black Staedtler pigment liner, Faber-Castell colored pencils, watercolors, cardboard and a color map.

i forgot to mention that i absolutely adore his round eyebrows!!!
they're expressive without looking like too much! which is hard to do with animals

i think his blu-ish grey looks just fine if not excellent
his face is so sweet~
i love his nubby tail and you drew his paws incredibly well
