Nineve, Chazaqiel's adopted daughter. She's nearly mute, extremely passive and completely blind (cataracts or glaucoma, maybe both) and is usually kept locked away in the inner chambers of his father's palace. Due to her aching eyes, the imperial council has decided to keep her heavily dazed by burning incence containing opioids in her sanctum.
Maybe because of the drugged condition, maybe because of a gift from higher powers, she's able to prophesy the future, which may have been the reason why she managed to arouse Chazaqiel's interest in the first place.

Old sketchy sketch from the last year. The character itself isn't even that new, she's been around for a year or so, I think. And she's a Saluki, thus humanlike hair. Though lately I've been thinking of changing her into a Xigou (which is a rare sighthound breed originating in China).
